We really
had a wonderful day from beginning to end and are indebted to
you and Pam for making the day so personal and special and everything
run so smoothly. John and Sarah also enjoyed meeting you and sharing
our day. We too loved the open top drive thru the streets I just
wish we'd captured some on video!

Now
that we are back home and getting settled we can look back with
pleasure at our brilliant and truly memorable wedding. Given the
perspective of nearly 3 months we have come to realise what a
very professional you did. Even I was never seriously stressed!
Thank

for all that you did for us and the many happy memories that you

Having
decided to to get married in our 70s we thought that a quiet wedding
with just the family was required. Perhaps in Derby, Gretna Green
even?
No we
decided on Rome. This was because we got to hear about Wed-in-Rome.
They were brilliant, everything went like clockwork, there as
no stress or hassle, nothing was too much trouble. It will be
a wedding that we will remember for all the right reasons for

a wedding day is the one day you will remember forever, and we
certainly agree that with your help ours certainly was a fantastic,

When we had the initial idea to marry in Rome (January 2006),
we thought it would be a difficult task, however finding Wed-in-Rome
was the answer to all our questions. Your responses were always
prompt and precise, and we felt totally at ease dealing with you
all. When visiting Rome in September 2006 to research our dream
we had yet to definitely decide to marry here, however upon meeting
Sheila with her experience and knowledge she helped to make the
decision so much easier. We knew that Rome was the city we wished
to marry, and that we would use Wed-In-Rome as our Wedding Planner.
From this time everything was organised to perfection. We would
definitely recommend Wed-In-Rome.
A mention for David. We hadn't had any dealings with him until

the start of our wedding search, we found Wed in Rome quite early
on and really from the off-set they were so helpful and professional.
We had a long engagement, which meant that we had a long time
to think about our special day and to plan it. Sheila and Pam
were nothing short of amazing with this!! We met Sheila on 3 occasions,
all times her efficient manner shone through - she was full of
suggestions and enthusiasm for us and always gave us her opinions
on our ideas. On the actual day, the whole team were amazing -
they ran the day like a tight ship! All our guests had a wonderful
time and thoroughly enjoyed their day, from the hotel, the photographer
right through to our fantastic band and meal. Thank you all for
a day that no one will forget and it will remain in our hearts

We could
not be more pleased with the excellent service provided by Sheila
when arranging our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and her

I would highly recommend to any small wedding party, the atmosphere

Let me
explain why we chose Wed in Rome:-
We both searched the internet for all the companies that organised
weddings in Italy. We then whittled the list down and e-mailed
3 companies. 2 of these responded within a couple of days (including
Wed in Rome) and the 3rd responded (an appallingly late) 4 weeks
after our query. It was then a matter of which company made us
feel that they were interested in tailoring our wedding to our
personal requirements rather than being a package holiday. The
responses from Pam & you were always reassuringly quick and
informative. It was not long before we informed the other company
that we would no longer need their help and chose you! Having
someone in the UK and in Italy as points of contact is a real
bonus and comfort for bride & groom. For you personally Shelia,
it was like talking to a friend. You have a gift of putting people
at ease and very quick to build relationships (my Mum thought
you were lovely too!). Thank you so much for making our wedding
such a perfect experience that we will treasure for the rest of
our lives. I would definitely recommend you to anyone wishing

2006. Sheila and Pam (and the extended “Wed-In-Rome”
family) have been outstanding in the services they offered. They
were proactive, diligent, friendly, professional and thoroughly
a joy to work with. We travelled to Rome prior to our wedding
and Wed-In-Rome provided us with a full itinerary where we looked
at churches, florists, reception venues, hair dressers, photographers,
tried the various cuisines etc (they covered every eventuality!).

Both
Paula and I were extremely happy with the services of Wed-In-Rome.
From the start we were trying to arrange a short-notice ceremony
and both Pam and Sheila (who is based in Italy) did everything
that they could to facilitate what we needed. They were friendly,
extremely helpful and flexible and were prepared to put in maximum
effort to set up what we wanted for the day.
Due to
work commitments we were not able to register here and get our
UK documents to Italy until very close to the planned ceremony
and the team in Italy was able to get everything sorted out in
time. Effectively they arranged our wedding in 2 - 3 weeks.
The Villa
Lais was a lovely setting, although there were only 4 of us so
it was simple to fit into what is quite a small venue. They also
arranged a driver, photographer and a hotel balcony for a drink
afterwards with some canapés, champagne etc. The driver
collected us from our hotel and as we had to return directly to
the UK after drinks they also arranged for the driver to take
us to the airport.
I cannot
recommend Wed-In-Rome highly enough and I believe that they do
offer value for money. The alternative of arranging a wedding
yourself unless you have unlimited holiday and fluency in Italian
boggles the mind as forms seem to be a national passion in Italy!
In terms of having the day run smoothly I would advise you to
lean on Sheila for as many of the arrangements as possible. We
always had the feeling that she took as much care of us as if
it were her wedding and we are very happy to have had the chance
to thank her with a glass of bubbly after the event. She was definitely
part of the day from our perspective.

constantly boring friends with talk of our wedding!! For us getting
married was more about being married than actually getting married.
We wanted it to be small, personal and with a minimum of fuss.
We truly did not expect to enjoy it as much as we did. Before
I got married I was a real wedding cynic, now I'm wedding mad!
Getting married in Rome was fantastic, it made the whole occasion
so special, not only for us but for our guests also - I would
recommend it to anyone and we wouldn't have changed a thing. It
really was an amazing experience. Wed-in-Rome provided an excellent
service, from recommending venues, showing us around the city
on arrival, looking after our guests and coordinating on the day
to providing an after care service second to none. Wed-in-Rome
were both professional and personal. Getting married in Rome would
always have been special but Wed-in-Rome made it the truly amazing
